You can believe me when I say that I am a little perturbed as I awake here, this morning, only to find that my bed, my person included, has somehow miraculously appeared in the middle of this expanse of field, with only the grazing cows for company. In fact, you could quite accurately say I am quite astonished. As I lie here now, exposed to the disbelief of my senses, the mercy of the elements and the curious tongue of Bertha (I have named her this, it is a good name), I find myself continuing to ponder the impossibility of my situation.
